RED VELVET Client Work
The client wanted to end their conference with a huge block party with lots of drinking on one of the most popular streets in Austin without being identified to protect their image. They also wanted to embrace Austin tropes, since the conference's destination is in a different city each year, but still feel fresh. The block party would only include specific bars and would need to be easy to identify with potentially intoxicated attendees.

The solution was designing a custom event logo for the evening with its own distinct color palette and font keeping the client anonymous. Slap wristbands were used to identify guests from passerbys, and a bar hop map was designed with info about food, music, and vibe of each bar. Pedicab drivers wore branded hats, shuttles were marked with the custom brand symbol, and koozies were magnetic because, well, when you need one, it would be there.
