Hello! I'm Chris Tyre, an art director, visual storyteller, and founder of Via Visual design studio based in Austin, Texas. I'm that dude in the back of the coffee shop with the oat milk latte crafting brand narratives yet still really into the indie acoustic tunes playing the background.

What I deliver is creative leadership, a focus on concept development and problem solving, dedication to detail, and probably a few puns that slip in along the way. I believe in the power of collaboration, an open mind, showing up, and the positive impact of good design. I have over a decade of experience spanning brand strategy, experiential marketing, and graphic design which includes working in a creative experience agency, in-house marketing team, and freelance. My client portfolio ranges from local businesses to nonprofits to international organizations in the Global 500.

I am also the owner of Nomad + Camera that specializes in lifestyle and event photography, guest photographer for Creative Mornings/Austin, and a volunteer Programming Lead for Austin Design Week.
